CAA Signs Emma Roberts
CAA has landed up and coming actress Emma Roberts.
Deadline told you Wednesday that her longtime manager David Sweeney had arranged a series of meetings for Emma Roberts, looking for an agency to transition the teen star to adult parts. CAA just made the signing. It comes at a time when Roberts stars in Scream 4, which opens April 15. She most recently starred in Homework, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Before that she starred in It's Kind of a Funny Story, which premiered at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival.

Mara was first seen on the big screen in 2005 in the horror flick remake... "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and just last year as the girl who broke Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s heart, inspiring a digital revolution in The Social Network.
Her big moment, however came with the role she has yet to play Lisbeth Salander in the much talked about Millennium Trilogy adapted from the book series by Stieg Larsson. Snagging the role as the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is sure to put Mara on the map, considering some of Hollywood’s top actresses including Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Kristen Stewart had expressed interest in the coveted role.

Japanese Earthquake And Tsunami
The magnitude of 8.9 made it the largest earthquake to hit Japan in recorded history and the seventh largest in the world since records began.
The 2011 Sendai earthquake and tsunami, literally "Tōhoku region Pacific Ocean offshore earthquake") was an 8.9-magnitude megathrust earthquake that created tsunami waves of up to 10 metres (33 ft). It was measured at 7 on the Japan Meteorological Agency seismic intensity scale in the northern Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, with an initially reported magnitude of 7.9, while the JMA's tsunami warning listed the magnitude as 8.4, later updated to 8.8. The earthquake focus was reported to be off the Oshika Peninsula, the east coast of Tōhoku on 11 March 2011, at 05:46 UTC (14:46 local time) at a depth of 24.4 kilometres (15.2 mi). News reports by Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) indicate that at least 1000 people have died and another 530 are missing in six different prefectures, although it is feared the total number of dead could be far higher.
